Refund and Returns Policy

Returns

Aromatic Shack accepts refunds or exchanges in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

This enables you to return a product that is:

  • Faulty or Damaged
  • Significantly different to those shown or described to you
  • Not fit for purpose
  • Unsafe

Faulty or Damaged Products On Delivery

Upon delivery, if you find that any of your products are faulty or has been damaged in transit, please contact us at info@thearomaticshack.com.au and attach any evidence of the fault or damage (i.e. photos) within 24 hours of delivery. This ensures that we are able to submit relevant enquiries to the delivery providers. Please provide as much information as you can so we are able to provide you with a solution quickly and efficiently. We may ask you to return the damaged product at our cost if necessary.

Products Significantly Different To Those Shown Or Described To You

If a different product or order has been sent to you in error, please contact us at info@thearomaticshack.com.au along with any relevant information and we will assist you as soon as possible.

Please note: from time to time, our suppliers may change or modify the look and packaging of the product without notice. If you receive a product that has a packaging change and the contents have also changed, your order will be eligible for a return. If the products you received have changed packaging, however the contents of the products remain unchanged, your item will not be eligible for a return.

Not Fit For Purpose or Unsafe

In the event that you believe that the product is unsafe to use or consume (i.e. products have gone past their use by date), please contact us within 24 hours of delivery along with any relevant information (i.e. photos) and we will assist you.

If you have opened or used the product and find the product not fit for purpose or unsafe, please contact the original company with your enquiry. Their contact information can be found on the product labels.

Please note that this policy does not apply if you have changed your mind or ordered in error.

Change of Mind or Ordered in Error

At this point in time, we do not accept any returns or refund for orders if you have changed your mind, or have ordered any items in error.

Please note:

  1. Proof of purchase – please provide us with your order number or the original email you used to place your order
  2. For security reasons, refunds will be issued through your original payment method. 
  3. We have the right to assess the age and condition of returned goods prior to offering a repair, exchange or refund.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@thearomaticshack.com.au

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@thearomaticshack.com.au and send your item to: Aromatic Shack, PO Box 43, NANANGO QLD 4615

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Aromatic Shack, PO Box 43, NANANGO QLD 4615

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
